Holidays
for 2008

Huzur Vadisi – Turkey. 28th July – 4th August 2008
Huzur Vadisi is a place where the only sounds are the cicadas, the call of owls at night and in springtime the song of the heavenly nightingales. Huzur Vadisi is the name of the farmhouse and of the mountain valley in which it is situated. Surrounded by virgin pine forest, you can walk unhindered in any direction to spectacular view points of the coast and islands and inland to unfolding mountain ranges. Accommodation is in large, comfortable, nomadic yurts, a special feature of the holiday. Two other special features are the beautiful natural stone swimming pool, and the traditional wooden Kösk (where our word kiosk comes from meaning summer house or pavillion), which is not unlike an exotic treehouse and is a favourite spot for siestas!
Emma returns to Hazur Vadisi to offer a relaxing and sparkling week of asana, pranayama and meditation; a chance to connect to the calm and quietness within through the breath and the body. A highly respected teacher from the Isle of Wight, she has studied with David Swenson, Angela Farmer, Shiva Rea, Clive Sheridan and Nyrani to teach both Ashtanga, Sivananda and the Tantric approaches to yoga. This has evolved into an imaginative and flowing asana practice which improves strength and flexibility, whilst softening the heart. A wonderful opportunity to relax under the tuition of this vibrant yogini, this week will open body and mind.
